Build Update
Wirral Youth Zone is set to open in April 2017 and with the external work of our building virtually complete and internal works now well underway, we are all hugely excited as we approach our 100 day countdown to opening.
Externally the building envelope is now almost complete and in the coming weeks the brightly coloured fins will be erected along Bright Street, creating a vibrant beacon for all to see. During the early part of December, the rooftop 3G Astroturf surface will be installed with the surrounding fencing and floodlighting.
Internally the building services continue to be installed with the walls, floors and ceiling finishes currently being progressed ready for completion. In addition, preparation will begin for the fantastic 9m climbing wall, which will be erected from January.
