Here at The Hive we have a Sports Committee of six senior members who represent their peers and have a voice about our sports offer. They are undertaking a mammoth challenge throughout March and they need your help!

Their challenge – to walk, run or cycle a combined total of 603 miles; the distance from Land’s End (Britain’s most south-westerly point) to John O’Groats (the Northeastern tip of Scotland).

Our Sports Committee, along with the support of our Hive Sports Coordinator Chris, have shown real determination and team spirit towards this challenge and have already made incredible progress.

Their aim – to raise vital funds for The Hive Youth Zone and the life-changing youth work we provide to local young people, 365 days of the year.

This last year has been difficult for so many and we have seen first-hand the impact the pandemic has had on young people and their mental health and well-being.

Every little donation helps to make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable young people as we provide them with a safe place to engage in positive activity, with vital access to a trusted youth worker who can offer much needed support and advice.

If you are able to support The Hive, please consider making a donation to make a real difference at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/supportoursportscommittee
