Hike for the hive

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on one of our incredible supporters – Shaun, who, this year is going the extra mile (literally!) to raise vital funds for The Hive by taking part in this year’s Wirral Coastal Walk.

A 20K route setting off on July 6 2025 and taking in views across the River Mersey to Liverpool and the huge docks complex, passing the small seaside town of New Brighton and onto a beautiful beach lined coast against the Irish Sea before the final turn onto the more rural and peaceful countryside overlooking the River Dee

A passionate fundraiser and no stranger to a challenge, Shaun has tackled a variety of daring feats over the years, including an abseil down Leasowe Lighthouse, all to raise money for causes close to his heart.

Now, Shaun is lacing up his walking boots to support the work we do at The Hive and our young people across the community. His dedication and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we’re incredibly grateful for his generosity.

Shaun said; “I’ve chosen to walk the beautiful Wirral coastline not just for the challenge, but because I want to give something back to a community resource that truly makes a difference. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards supporting the Hive’s life-changing work.”
