The Hive Youth Zone now has a virtual tour, giving viewers access to explore the building and all it’s incredible facilities from the comfort of their own computer, tablet or phone!

The online resource will now be used across a range of outreach workshops and school assemblies – giving potential members a look inside the youth zone before they sign up.

Dougy Oliver, Inclusion Manager, plans to use the virtual experience tour with new members who would like to explore The Hive online before coming along for the first time;

”Young people who have a disability, or anxiety about visiting new places will really welcome this chance to view the youth zone before they come along. Getting to know the layout of the building, and where different activities take place will help them feel secure and excited about coming along”

Georgia Flynn, Creative Project Manager at Hi-Impact Media worked with the team at The Hive to capture the building for the virtual tour:

“At hi-impact media we create virtual tours all over the world. For me, The Hive is one of my absolute favourite virtual tours I’ve ever created. It was a pleasure helping our local youth centre to transform their incredible space into a digital format that can be shared all over and help promote inclusivity online. I’ve had the pleasure of working with The Hive on a number of occasions and their team are phenomenal.”

Nikki Anderson, Head of Marketing and Communications added:

”Thanks to Georgia, and the team at Hi-Impact Media, the process of creating the video  was really easy and fun! The tour is another resource we have to reach out to potential members from across Wirral, along with giving our current members a chance to show their friends and family the places in The Hive that they love!”
