On Monday 23rd March we launched ‘Hive at Home’ – a virtual Youth Zone offer for our members as a direct response to having to pause our universal open-access sessions for the first time since we opened almost three years ago.

‘Hive at Home’ is a way for young people to continue to access fun, engaging and creative content – through a mix of video, quizzes, games and challenges created by the team at The Hive and broadcast across our social media channels each day.

Already our first week has seen us reach hundreds of young people, who have embraced this new way of virtual youth work and interaction with our members has been constant, from comments and tags in their social media posts, to using our dedicated ‘talk to The Hive’ email for one-to-one support.

As we continue in this uncertain time our dedication to providing young people with something to do and someone to talk to remains our priority, and we would encourage everyone to support us as we keep working on innovative and meaningful ways to keep making a real difference to our members – who need us to be there for them now more than ever before.
