This December saw the launch of our Hive pop-up shop, on St John’s Pavement at the Pyramids Shopping Centre. Open throughout the busy Christmas period we offered a wide range of Christmas gifts and merchandise including Hive-branded items designed by our members including Christmas cards, t-shirts, beanies, keyrings and badges.
We also had an in-store present wrapping service along with Christmas arts and craft activities for children.
The Hive chief executive Adam Mellor said:
“The pop-up-shop was a fantastic way for the young people in our enterprise group to put the business skills they are developing into action, in a real-life setting.
“It also provided an opportunity for our members to show-case their design and creative talents with our own range of Hive merchandise.
Cash raised from the pop-up store will be put back into The Hive and will help the Youth Zone continue to deliver a first-class youth provision to youngsters across Wirral.
