The Linbury Trust is a charitable trust established in 1973 by Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover KG and his wife, Lady Sainsbury, CBE. It has grants totalling more than £100 million and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

THE ONSIDE FOUNDATION
The OnSide Foundation invests in new Youth Zones by flowing capital grants raised by OnSide to new projects. The Foundation recently raised £1million from The Queen’s Trust, The Holroyd Foundation and St James’s Place Foundation for the benefit of Wirral Youth Zone.

The Queen’s Trust has backed our charity to the tune of £500,000 to help make Wirral Youth Zone a reality in Birkenhead. The Queen’s Trust was set up in 1977 to help fund charities which ‘help young people help others’. At today’s prices, over £100m has been raised.

The St. James’s Place Foundation has donated £500,000 to the Youth Zone. The St. James’s Place Foundation is the grant-making charitable arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group and has raised over £30 million.

Bill Holroyd is the founder of The Holroyd Foundation and Chairman of OnSide Youth Zones – the parent charity of the Youth Zone Network in which The Hive is a part of. Bill has been an investor of over 25 companies and was included in the Coutts Million Dollars Donors Report.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is generously supplying us with the land located next to the new fire station on Exmouth St, in the centre of Birkenhead to build Wirral’s new Youth Zone – without this the project would not be possible.

The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust was established on 1 July 2006, by the merger of ambulance trusts from Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside, Cumbria and Lancashire. They currently employ over 4,900 staff.
